Happy Highlights

Fall is near and I couldn't be more ready for cooler weather, football Saturdays, and soup season. Life seems to get busy this time of year, but nothing worth complaining about. Here are some highlights from the past few weeks...

1. New Job- This was my first August not starting a school year in over 25 years. While the transition is bittersweet, I have enjoyed getting settled in my new role WHILE also staying connected to my old team! They included me in a fun pizza night at Bella's house to celebrate the new school year. We made homemade pizzas with about every topping you could think of and enjoyed catching up. Some highlights from my new job are my supportive team and some added flexibility! I enjoyed attending an Excel workshop at Eleanor's Place one morning during the work day!

2. First Georgia Game as National Champions- This past weekend we attended the Chickfila Kick-Off Game at Mercedes-Benz, where Georgia dominated Oregon. Looking forward to hopefully another successful season for the Bulldawgs!

3. Labor Day at Chateau Elan- To make the most of the Labor Day holiday, Charles and I traveled up to Chateau Elan on Sunday afternoon for some quality time. We arrived just in time for lunch at Sarazen's Grill and then spent some time driving around the neighborhood for old-time's sake (for me!). Then, we checked into our hotel and headed to Paddy's and Louis's Bourbon Bar for some drinks before dinner at Versailles. Monday morning we arrived at the spa for a full day of pampering (and Charles's first massage!)!
