The past few weekends have been filled with preparation for Baby Walker's arrival with lots of fun in between! Here are some highlights.
1. Athens Visits- At the end of September, I made a surprise trip to Athens to help Sarah organize her new house (and get some Sadie snuggles!). Charles and I also went up for the Auburn vs. Georgia game and had fun tailgating with friends.
2. Ben and Hannah's Wedding- they got married at Atlanta Country Club on 10/10/24. It was a fun evening spending time with family and celebrating them!
3. Halloween Festivities- Fall decorations and Halloween always get me so excited as it marks the beginning of the holiday trifecta. To get us in the spirit, we attended the annual Harper Halloween party (me as Momtok and Charles as Ric Flair) and had our family's pumpkin party at Ben's. We also started a new tradition with Ellie and Blake, which included a soup dinner at the house before we drove around the neighborhood looking at Halloween decorations. On actual Halloween, we are trick-or-treating with the Berrys, Roods, and Pauls in Claire and Michael's neighborhood.
5. Celebrating Baby Walker- I had some baby showers this weekend to prepare for Baby Walker's arrival! Saturday's shower was at the Ashford and hosted by my bridesmaids. It was such a fun day spending time with my closest friends! On Sunday, Aunt Susan and Mrs. White hosted a sweet shower for me at Aunt Susan's house. I officially feel prepared for the baby, mainly because I have a car seat to bring him/her home in! I feel so spoiled to have such loving and generous family/friends.
