We had another great family vacation to Hilton Head! We stayed in the same area as last year, and once again were not disappointed. We arrived Saturday and were able to pick up our groceries on the way in, miraculously fitting them all in the car. After we got settled, the "young adults" decided to grab a casual dinner at Salty Dog followed by 5 Crowns and a walk on the beach. Sunday morning we biked over to Salty Dog to visit with the parrots and shop around. The boys golfed during the day and we grilled out burgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob, and fries at the house. Afterward, we biked to Salty Dog to get ice cream for the kids and then had a late night working on a fun yet challenging Spiderman puzzle!

Monday was mom's birthday, and we started the day with a bike ride to Harbour Town to climb the lighthouse and play on the playground. Then we grabbed lunch and drinks at Coast, where my dad and our friend Jennifer later joined us. We went out to the beach for a little bit before it started to rain, and then got ready for a fun dinner at Nectar and another round of Five Crowns!
Tuesday we biked to the Ruins, finished the puzzle, and went to the beach while the boys golfed. We had another night in complete with the most delicious Taco Night! Wednesday we made the most of a full beach day followed by date night at Links for drinks and Quarterdeck for dinner! I had a delicious Thai Crunch Salad and everyone else went with the mahi mahi.
Thursday we biked to Harbour Town to have lunch at the Crazy Crab. We decided to pick up yummy pizzas from Harris Teeter for dinner and played Code Names. Friday we had a long bike ride and beach day, and ended the trip with a fun dinner at Holy Tequila and the most beautiful sunset!
We made a pit stop on the way home in Augusta to grab lunch at Augusta Country Club with Charles's family. It was so fun seeing the kiddos (and getting some new Nike gear!
And that's a wrap on our family Hilton Head trip 2022! Until next year...
