30A

Last week I got home from a quick trip to 30A with my friend Claire and her parents. We arrived Saturday afternoon and made our Publix stop on the way in. After getting settled, we had a few drinks in the condo and then headed to Bud and Alley's for drinks before dinner at Great Southern Cafe. We ended the night with some yummy frozen yogurt at Dawson's and laughs brought by the game "New Phone Who Dis."

We started our first full day with a bike ride down 30A and an afternoon on the beach. We stuck close to the condo for a quick dinner at The Perfect Pig followed by another night of ice cream and games!

Monday was another great day on the beach! We headed to Watercolor for a pretty dinner overlooking the ocean at Fish Out of Water. Afterwards Claire and I walked back to Bud and Alleys for another drink before calling it a night.

Following our last day on the beach was a fun wine tasting in Alys Beach at NEAT. We tasted four different wines for only $15! I always love the fun vibe of Alys Beach. Claire's mom did not make it to the tasting, so we picked her up on our way to Borago for a pasta dinner in Grayton Beach that night. On the way home we stopped by the Cagle's friend's house for a night cap (or two!) and had a great time chatting.

To add some excitement to the trip, we found a hole in the tire right before we were supposed to head back to Atlanta. We detoured to Fort Walton Beach to replace the tire and finally hit the road that afternoon. Every time I visit 30A I am reminded of how much I love it! Until next time...
