Our next stop was Loring Place for lunch followed by some more shopping. Once we freshened up, we headed to happy hour at The Mermaid Oyster Bar for drinks and apps! After our full day, I think we were the only people in NYC in bed before 10 pm :)
We were moving slow the next day and decided to stop by the hotel lobby for breakfast again before heading towards The Rockefeller Center. This was my first time visiting the city around Christmas time, so I was excited to see the tree and decorations while they were still up. We walked in a few stores and then headed to Broadway for Kinky Boots!
After the show we headed to The Waverly Inn for drinks and dinner with one of my mom's oldest friends. This restaurant had the best atmosphere for a cold winter night, and the food and wine list did not disappoint.
Sunday morning we met one of my friends for breakfast in West Village at Cafe Cluny. This little spot was so quaint and had the. best. home. fries. Afterwards we visited her apartment, walked the High Line, and grabbed some beers at Reservoir Sports Bar for the NFL Wild Card games. We ended our day with a slice of pizza and some afternoon tea back at The Marlton before heading to our 8:00 flight (which turned into a 10:00 flight due to a maintenance issue 😑)
