15 Months of Charlie

Charlie bug is 15 months!! Time continues to fly. His little personality comes out more and more each day, and it is so fun seeing what he likes (and is very passionate about!) and what he doesn't. A big milestone was moving up to the next class at daycare, which included transitions like sleeping on a cot (with a blanket not a sleepsack), dropping the paci and down to one nap, and being fully on the meal plan (which he obviously loves!). Another highlight is learning how to say words! He is right under 27 pounds of pure joy who loves food, balls, being outside, and reading books!

Outings

Augusta for Christmas
NYE at the Conners
Friends' birthday parties- Willie Sanders, Sophie Douglas
ESP playground with friends
Basketball games this winter to watch Charles and Hank
Lots of open gym visits at Oconee Gymnastics

2/8- learned to put hands on head when I say uh-oh or oh no
14 months started saying more words- can say dog, duck, da-da, mama, moo, night night, ball, bubbles, and kind of said "Sassy" when I asked him to
Learned how to stand up in high chair
3/13- got real haircut at Barber and the Salon
Knows how to "shoot" the basketball and uses golf clubs to hit the balls

Things to Remember

The way he knows to throw his paci back in the crib after waking up.

The way he shakes when he gets so excited or wants something

The way he puts his forehead against mine

The way he scrunches his nose

The way he still squeals so loud

The way he jumps on the couch and dances

The way he gives hugs, especially after I’ve been gone

The way he waves with his fingers now

The way he says MHMMM when giving Charles a high five

The way he crinkles his nose with his lip over his teeth almost like being shy when something is funny or exciting

The way he moves his hand when we say pee-yeww!

The way he knows the hair brush goes on his head and tries to brush his hair

The way he pulls on his high chair when he’s hungry

The way he copies me and lies on the floor to look under the furniture for balls

The way he throws so hard with his whole body

The way he waves his hand and bobs his head when the food is hot

The way he says lalala for the moo baa book

The way he puts his hands on his head when I say uh-oh or oh no

The way he says no by shaking his whole body

The way he yanks his pushy toys if he runs into a wall

The way that he gets a lot more injuries now that we are on the move!

The way he says please in sign language so hard when he wants something really badly (most likely food!)
