9 Months of Charlie

Charlie boy is officially on the move, and the baby proofing of the house is about to begin! His little personality is coming out more and more each day.

Outings
-Sleepover at the Mowry's
-Athens day with the Duggans
-First tailgate for a UGA home game!
-Family dinner at Athens Country Club
-Atlanta sleepover at the Mowry's for Mary Margaret's 1st Birthday Party
-Athens Academy to watch Hank's flag football game

Milestones:

-8/21- apparently threw up twice at school. Thought maybe he had another ear infection but took him to the doctor and he was fine. Think some top teeth are coming in because he’s sometimes eating way less than 8 oz and could have caused the vomit/loss of appetite

9/7- started kind of taking little steps crawling!

-9/10- officially started army crawling. Mainly does that because it is faster but starting to crawl on all fours

9/11- kind of started clapping

-Pulling up on everything

-Outgrowing some 12-month clothes, so moving up to 18 months.

-Weighs around 21 lbs

-Can hold Dr. browns in one hand

-Starting to know how to put toys in things (ball in the hole of workbench toy and puts things in baskets)

-Can drink out of a straw

Notes/things to remember:

-Still can't figure out his eye color. Sometimes they look so brown and sometimes they have a hint of blue.

-The way his teacher calls him nosey because he is always looking around at other people going by

-The way he climbs all over me

-The way he shakes his bottle

-The way he laughs when I say no when he is pulling on the mirror in his room

-The way he copies you blowing raspberries

-The way he gets so excited when I pick him up from daycare

-The way he fake cries when putting him in his car seat

-The way he throws things so hard

Likes:
-Yogurt
-Toast

-His toothbrush

-Pulling up on everything

-Opening the mailbox

-Banging things together

-Going on walks and watching the fan in the stroller

-Loves flap/texture books

Dislikes:
-Diaper changes are getting more and more difficult
-When we leave him with a babysitter

Looking forward to our first fall season as a family of three!
