7 Months of Charlie

This past month was a special one as it included Charlie's first beach trip and his baptism! He finally got to meet Greyson, Marshall, and the kids, which was really special. 

 Outings
-First beach trip to Amelia Island
-Georgia Club and ACC for 4th of July festivities
-Augusta to meet his Walker cousins!
-Augusta for Charlie's baptism weekend

Milestones: 

6/22- First tooth started popping through. It looked like 2 holes in gums and then on 6/23 it looked like a line in gums

6/29- Gave Tylenol for the first time because he was super fussy. He also was constipated after the beach trip. 

6/30- The second bottom tooth started to come in

7/1- dropped 11 am pump 

-7/2- started topping him off with formula for night feed 

7/3- Tried peanut butter!

7/5- starting to drop the evening cat nap 

7/7- dropped last daytime pump session

7/13- Got baptized at Church of the Good Shepherd in Augusta!

-Starting to sit up unsupported for a good amount of time 

-Knows object permanence

Notes/things to remember:

-Eyes are starting to have more of a brownish tint

-The way he looks like he is about to cry when I sneeze during nursing 

-The way he starts crying when he stops eating because he wants more, but it’s right there

-The way he reaches for and grabs at my face while eating like he’s confirming I’m still there 

-The way he blinks really fast when you blow in his face or get close

-The way he looks for his bottle when he knows it is there.

-The way he cries so hard when his bottles are over

-The pterodactyl squeals when excited 

-The way he smiles anytime I turn around and look at him through the mirror in the car

-He did a great job sitting through 1.5 hour church service for his baptism despite having a little cold. He was so happy and would smile at Bunny, but he cried when he handed him over for the baptism. it was so cute and special, and we had the most fun brunch at ACC afterwards to celebrate! He got so many sweet gifts that we will cherish forever.

Likes:

-Tried broccoli florets on 7/15 and loved it!

-Loves hummus

-Still loves all food

-Still loves his feet and sucks on his toes in the car seat

-Enjoys being in the pool!

-Starting to like peek-a-boo

Dislikes:

-Still such a happy baby. Gets sad when being put in his car seat but gets over it quickly

-Starting to show a little more attachment to me and doesn't like to not be held by me if I am around

-Doesn't like for mealtimes to be over

Month 7 is already going by quickly as we approach the end of summer. Coming up is our cousin Sadie's 1st birthday, my first trip away from Charlie, and more pool days!
