Easter 2023

The Masters fell on Easter this year, which kept us busy all weekend long! Charles and I headed to Athens on Friday and joined Sarah and Sam for the Masters Oyster Roast at ACC. Saturday morning was spent prepping for our Easter brunch since mom and dad went to Augusta on Easter. The menu this year included a springtime veggie board, egg salad, cucumber sandwiches, pimento cheese, and Asian coleslaw and pommes dauphinoise as always (Sarah also threw in a random potato salad she whipped up). Everyone arrived at mom and dad's around noon and we enjoyed lunch, dying eggs, and watching golf... all indoors because there were terrible storms! So much so that the tournament got postponed. That evening Charles and I took it easy with my parents and played a few rounds of Mahjongg before calling it a night!

On Sunday, Charles and I went to the Episcopal Church and then picked up bagels from Ideal. Then, we grabbed the leftovers and headed to Sarah and Sam's for a mini Masters party (including homemade azaleas!). We drove back to Atlanta with just enough time to join Hannah and Ben at the Braves game.
