From wedding celebrations to the upcoming holidays, this fall season has flown by. The weekends following Claire and Shelby's Bachelorette have been full of fun and a sense of normalcy. Up first was the Summer Hummer Member Guest at Athens Country Club, which I attended with my sister's friends. The next day I headed back to Atlanta to watch the Georgia/Alabama game with some friends.
The following weekend started off with a (wild) night out with friends at the St. Regis and the Koo Koo Room. The next day I grabbed brunch at Le Colonial before mustering up energy to trek to Augusta for Claire and Michael's Engagement Party, which also ended up with a night out at The Indian Queen. Despite initially planning to drive back Saturday night, there was too much fun to pass up on and I had the best time celebrating Claire and Michael!
Halloween included a festive band party at a friend's house, where I went with an easy DIY costume as Elle Woods. The next day we hosted a bridal shower for Shelby at Claire's mom's house. It was the perfect way to celebrate Shelby before her big day.
Charles came to visit the next weekend and we grabbed dinner at Eight Sushi on Friday night. Oh. my. gosh. This might be my new favorite sushi restaurant! From the tuna crisp appetizer to the yummy rolls, we had the best time and a delicious meal. On Saturday, I hosted a bridal luncheon for Shelby at Claire's house. Since we were unable to join in on her wedding day, this was the best way to jumpstart the festivities! Following the shower, we joined some other friends to watch the Georgia game at Hilary and Adam's house. From there, Charles and I bounced down to the Beltline to join some friends at Park Tavern and Bantam. Sunday night I headed to Bar Margot to celebrate the marriage of Shelby and Seth!
Last weekend I went to visit my friend Kaler and her family in New Orleans. I arrived Thursday evening and we went to New Orleans Country Club for dinner, where I branched out with my meal choice! We went to lunch with her mom at Saba on Friday afternoon, followed by some fun shopping. Friday night we met up with some of Kaler's friends for dinner at Jack Rose, which was the coolest restaurant with the most delicious food and cocktails! Saturday included more eating and drinking, which started off with brunch at Brennans, drinks in the French Quarter, and finally dinner at La Petite Grocery. It was a such a fun weekend and a much needed getaway!
Up next- a recap of Claire and Michael's wedding!
