Labor Day Weekend- Charleston

Over Labor Day weekend I headed to Charleston for a quick little getaway with my mom! We stayed with her cousin Kim and had so much fun spending time with family and having a change of scenery. We arrived late Friday night and stayed up snacking and catching up.

Saturday morning I headed to Spa Azure for the most. amazing. facial. Afterwards, we regrouped and headed to Shem Creek for lunch at Tavern and Table. We continued the fun at Bumpa's downtown, which is a new restaurant named after the owners' grandfather, just like ours! We loved checking out this new spot and grabbing mint juleps in honor of the Derby. After a long day of being out and about, we went back to the house where my mom's other cousin, Lorraine, joined us for apps and the Derby!

On our way out of town Sunday afternoon, my mom and I stopped by Hustle Smoothie bar, which has been on my list to try since I order blender bombs to Atlanta!

Even though it was a short trip, a little R+R was just what the doctor ordered, and I am so glad we got to visit one of my favorite cities to do so!
