Hooray for Vacay

This past week was full of some much needed travel! Last Sunday my best friends and I made our way down to New Smyrna Beach for a few days at Shelby's beach house. Some highlights were perfect weather, dinners out at Norwood's and The Garlic, and starting an easy beach read.

I flew back to Atlanta Thursday morning so that I could hit the road and drive to Highlands, NC for a weekend with my sister and her friends! We hosted everyone at our house for pizza and drinks on Thursday night. We took advantage of the babysitters on Friday and went to Meritage for lunch and walked around town while the boys played golf. Once we regrouped back at the house, the girls had a mini wine tasting before venturing out for the evening. We grabbed dinner at Midpoint and then headed to Lauren and Will's house for a hilarious game of Three Rounds. 

The girls were so excited to head to Old Edwards on Saturday for a spa day and lunch at Madison's. From the facials and shower to the fireside chats, we felt pampered for our last night of vacation! Our house had a delicious dinner at On the Verandah, which included beautiful views of Lake Sequoyah.

Although travel looks a little different this summer, some R+R is always good for the soul!
