Thanksgiving Recap and Everything in Between

The holiday festivities started at the end of November. We had the best time having the whole family in Athens for Thanksgiving. We spend the afternoon cooking and playing games, followed by a wonderful meal! This year I was in charge of the corn casserole and roasted vegetables, which are always two of my favorites, and added a new tradition of espresso martinis! The next day I took advantage of the beautiful weather and played 18 holes with my mom and her neighborhood friends.  I then headed back to Atlanta Saturday morning to watch the rivalry games on the Beltline with some friends.

Christmas festivities began with a birthday celebration for my friend Jenna at Estrella followed by Christmas inspired cocktails at Little Spirit! The holiday spirit was also in full effect Friday at school.

I was anxiously awaiting the weekend to cheer on the Dawgs at the SEC Championship! Despite the outcome, I had the best day with friends and family.

We wrapped up the weekend with a visit to the Fox for The Nutcracker with the Avery girls. We also continued our family outing with a trip to the Atlanta Botanical Garden Monday night! I am loving these new traditions and memories being created.

How is Christmas only 15 days away?!
