Rose Bowl 2017

I started off the New Year by traveling to California for the Rose Bowl to watch the Dawgs. To celebrate New Years Eve, we started the day off at Rose Cafe in Venice Beach for a fun brunch. From there, we headed to Barney's in Santa Monica to cheer on the Falcons. To keep the fun going, we grabbed dinner at Tart before going to our NYE event at a house party in West Hollywood. We decided to call it a night around 10 Pacific Time so that we could wake up feeling ready to go for the game!

We headed to Pasadena super early Monday morning to beat some of the traffic and try to catch some of the parade, but sadly we could not figure out where it was going on. We quickly started the tailgating festivities in the K Lot right outside the stadium with a bunch of our closest friends. It was truly one of the best games I have ever watched, and the Dawgs pulled out a win in double overtime 54-48!!!

Before our flight Tuesday night, we spent the day hanging out in Long Beach. We rented bikes and rode up and down the boardwalk on the beach to explore the town a little bit. Before heading to the airport, we obviously had to have our first In and Out Burger experience. Did not disappoint!

This was such a fun trip that I will remember forever. Now the Dawgs need one more win tonight at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium here in Atlanta! Go Dawgs!
