Sarah went on a trip to Napa Valley with her boyfriend. Little did she know that he was planning to propose and she would come back with a fiance! They got engaged June 6th, and have already set a date for June 14, 2014. You can find their wedding website here.
The next week we took a family vacation to The Breakers in West Palm Beach for the annual GDLA conference. It was one of the most beautiful places we have ever been and enjoyed having the entire family down there!

A couple weeks later Sarah and I went to Cashiers, NC with her fiance, Sam, and his best friend Nick. It was a nice weekend of R & R.
At the end of June we headed to Kentucky to visit my mom's side of the family. We had fun going to some of the bourbon distilleries up there and enjoying time with the grandparents.
From there, we drove over to Chicago for a family reunion on our dad's side of the family. His mom turned 90 and her sister is turning 100 this year! So we had a lot of fun celebrating and spending time with some of the extended family we don't get to see very often. We also tried to fit in as many touristy things into our trip as we could.

After we got back to Georgia, we had to quickly prepare for UCA cheer camp at UGA. Sarah is the head varsity coach for Athens Academy and Ali is the JV coach. We were so proud of our girls and all the awards we won!
After our nonstop month of July, we topped it off with an
engagement party for Sarah and Sam. It was a wine tasting themed party to tie in
their Napa memories from the proposal. The bridesmaids brought a bottle
of white, the groomsmen a bottle of red. After they had all been tasted,
we voted on our favorite of each and the winner got a prize! It was
such a cute party and perfect for the bridal party to get to know each
other!

Now that we are slowly coming back to reality, we are preparing for school to start back and for things to get busy again! Hope everyone is having a great summer!
